Walter and Ena Richards have invested in their first US based business. They will bring the unique Hallmark Homecare referral model to the Canton, GA market as their next entrepreneurial venture, and will join three other Hallmark Homecare franchise partners that have launchd in the Atlanta, GA market.
Walter and Ena have spent their lives helping others, and they recognized Hallmark Homecare as a new opportunity for more of the same, but in a different industry. They moved to the US from South Africa in 2022. Ena founded Work 4 A Living (W4AL) in 2007, a nonprofit organization, that works in poverty-stricken countries with the aim to get people economically active. She is currently the CEO of W4AL International which operates in 20 different countries. Her strengths are sales, recruitment and training. Walter has most recently supported the growth of W4AL, from one to 60 outlets in South Africa. His strengths are in sales and strategy planning.

Hallmark Homecare is unlike the traditional homecare model because it’s a referral agency for caregiver recruitment and client matchmaking (the e-harmony of homecare). Clients save money, receive better care, and have more control. Caregivers earn higher wages and enjoy a better work arrangement. Franchisees enjoy a simple model, earn handsome profits and make a difference in the lives of others. The low investment model has a fast ramp up, is scalable, and provides recurring revenue. Hallmark is a “not your mama’s homecare”, but it should be!
