After successful leadership roles in corporate America, Dottie and Doug Yates were ready to launch their own business to make a difference in their community with a venture that could become a family affair! Doug and Dottie will launch their Hallmark Homecare business in three territories in the Dawsonville, GA area, north of Atlanta.
Doug has over 25 years of experience leading recruiting organizations in multiple industries, from hourly to executive, and prior to that, over 10 years in retail management. Dottie has over 30 years of experience leading product management organizations where she planned, designed, launched, marketed, and sold technology.
Dottie’s parents have had home care for over four years, so they’ve experienced the good and the bad of the process and understand how much of a relief it is to know your parents are being cared for properly. Dottie and Doug have seen the difference that quality home care can have in the lives of seniors and their loved ones, and they would like to help other families have this same experience. They also recognized how a franchise business allows for family involvement and legacy building. Their daughter will be joining their business launch team, too!
Hallmark Homecare is unlike the traditional homecare model because it’s a referral agency for caregiver recruitment and client matchmaking (the e-harmony of homecare).
