For years, Rob and James worked together in various businesses, building a strong foundation of teamwork and family values. As we searched for a new venture, we wanted something that would not only fulfill our entrepreneurial aspirations but also allow us to make a meaningful impact in our community. More importantly, we knew that our wives, Mariegrace and Rachel, weren’t just supporters of our journey—they were an essential part of it.
Mariegrace, originally from Lima, Peru, built a successful career as a paralegal before launching her own business, the JMG Group, which serviced the travel industry. Coming from a family where caring for elders was a cherished tradition, she witnessed firsthand
the love and commitment required to care for an ageing loved one. When her stepfather was diagnosed with cancer, her entire family came together to care for him. While it was a deeply meaningful experience, it also exposed the emotional and physical strain
caregiving can place on families. After her father’s passing, her family once again found themselves navigating the challenges of caregiving—this time for her mother. Together with her husband, James, and their two sons, Mason and Micah, Mariegrace remains
committed to supporting others and strengthening the community.
Rachel has always been deeply rooted in our community, dedicating her time to local schools and charitable events. She and Rob, high school sweethearts and proud parents of Amanda and Kayla, understand the importance of family and support. But when one of Rachel’s
parents had a fall and needed care, they experienced firsthand how overwhelming it can be to find the right help. They quickly realized that a great caregiver doesn’t just provide assistance; they bring peace of mind to the entire family.
These personal experiences fueled our purpose. We saw the challenges families face when trying to secure quality care for their loved ones, and we knew there had to be a better way. That’s when we discovered Hallmark Homecare, whose client-directed, direct-hire

We make sure that all independent caregivers we place have extensive experience. We place private caregivers with verified credentials, like HHA, CNA or other such credentials.

Professional Independent Caregiver Opportunities
Are you a caring and dependable independent caregiver wanting to make a real difference in the lives of seniors and their families?
Are you interested in making a substantially better wage as you deliver this vital service that you’ve been called to do?
Do you have the following qualifications?
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience
- Professional certification (CNA, PCA or equivalent)
- Legal ability to work (Proof of legal residency, green card, social security card, picture ID, etc.)
- Clean criminal background check with a 7-year lookback
- Positive professional references that can be verified
- No state board or other disciplinary actions
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- Current health certificates as applicable (e.g. TB clearance, Hepatitis B screening, etc.)
