Driven by our desire to find and develop a family-owned and family-operated business that truly makes a difference in people's lives, Sandy and I were immediately drawn to the transformative approach offered by Hallmark Homecare. The approach addresses the growing gap between the aging Baby Boomers and the shortage of quality caregivers needed to support their desire to remain in their homes for as long as possible.

With both of us being a part of this “Silver Tsunami” ourselves, but at the younger end of this remarkable generation, we have witnessed firsthand the challenges our parents faced as they aged. Their deep desire to stay in the comfort of their own homes, maintaining familiar routines, was undeniable.   Yet, we have also seen the struggles and loneliness associated with times when we could not always be there with them. Given the opportunity to channel our energy and passion into something meaningful, we chose to join the Hallmark Homecare revolution—committed to making a real impact on the lives of families like ours.

At the core of Hallmark’s mission is the simple belief that aging adults, regardless of physical or mental limitations, aspire to live fully and independently during the later years of their life. Sadly, after my mom passed due to COPD, my dad lived alone and was taken advantage of by an unvetted caregiver who stole a portion of his lifelong savings during the final years of his life.

We are dedicated to offering a safe, affordable solution for aging adults in their quest to live independently and with dignity in their later years. At the same time, we strive to ensure that the compassionate caregivers we place are valued and rewarded with meaningful, prosperous connections with those who need their support. The caregivers we recruit are true, "Difference Makers," bringing comfort, care, and companionship to those they serve.
