Georgia Tech Graduates Launch a Fist Business Collaboration in Peachtree City, GA!
Georgia Tech classmates Avante Upshaw, Myron McKeller, and Alex Walker have launched a joint venture collaboration for Hallmark Homecare in Peachtree City, GA. While each has had different foci for their careers up to this point, the trio recognized the opportunity to make a differenvr in their comunities through Hallmark Homecare, while building a profitable business.
Avante is an experienced business professional with significant experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain & logistics, and systems engineering. Avante has most recently been a senior program manager at Amazon and has a focus in statistical data analysis, lean continuous improvement methods, and project management. Alex comes from a commercial real estate background, and he is currently a Multifamily Developer at Trammell Crow Residential, where he manages the development of large apartment communities from inception to completion throughout the Southeast. Myron Mckeller is a Lead Technical Sales Engineer for Relex Solutions, where he has been an integral thought leader since 2017. Myron focuses on opportunities in the software, internet, machine learning, healthcare and supply chain spaces.

Hallmark Homecare is unlike the traditional homecare model because it’s a referral agency for caregiver recruitment and client matchmaking (the e-harmony of homecare). Clients save money, receive better care, and have more control. Caregivers earn higher wages and enjoy a better work arrangement. Franchisees enjoy a simple model, earn handsome profits and make a difference in the lives of others. The low investment model has a fast ramp up, is scalable, and provides recurring revenue. Hallmark is a “not your mama’s homecare”, but it should be!
