Hallmark Homecare specializes in the placement of experienced, self-employed, fully-insured caregivers into the homes of our clients on a direct-hire basis. We are dedicated to serving our clients and their family members who want to manage their own homecare (which we refer to as the “client-directed” option of in-home care), rather than involving an agency in managing and controlling the delivery of their homecare services. Our philosophy of client-directed care emphasizes the rights, within their abilities, of the elderly and people with disabilities to assess their own needs and make choices about what services best meet those needs. We are a critical resource to family members who choose our client-direct model of care, as we offer recruitment, background screening, liability insurance, and caregiver training, all of which address important safety and security issues.  We do all of this for a one-time placement fee, rather than charging a monthly mark-up on the services being rendered by the caregivers, which is what most agencies, homes, and facilities charge.
